People Have Opinions

I know I briefly mentioned that NPCs in the game will be able to have opinions of their own. Today I want to share more about how that works and some of the opinions currently in the game.

• Cheating: For some people, cheating is an absolute deal breaker but for others, it’s a way of life.

• Marriage: Some characters just want to date forever with no expectations of marriage while others believe dating should lead to marriage

• Children: Some characters want a lot of babies while others want none. Like zero.

• Working: Some people are just not built for the hustle. While some characters are trying not to work a day in their life while others are all about making money. It may be difficult to persuade some people to get a job.

• Pregnancy: Some characters want children but don’t want to carry them. You may have to look into alternatives if you get together.

• Homosexuality: Just like in real life, we have people on both sides. Some characters are supportive while others are not.

• Premarital sex: Some characters want to save themselves for marriage while others do not.

How do you find out a character’s opinion?

You find out a character’s opinion through their actions.

You can’t predict how a character will act and you find out what they really think when the situation presents itself.
